MOCVD growth and characterization of chalcogenide heterostructures for phase change memories
Dr. Arun Kumar is post-doctoral fellow with CNR IMM, Agrate Unit since September 2019, within the EU Horizon 2020 Project ‘BEFOREHAND’ (http://www.beforehand.eu/). Before joining CNR-IMM, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow at University of Verona, Italy, within the EU Horizon 2020 Project ‘SOLSA’ (https://www.solsa-mining.eu/), where he also obtained his PhD degree (2014-2017) entitled ‘Structural and vibrational spectroscopy characterizations of carbon nanostructures synthesized using mineral oxides’ under the supervision of Full Prof. Gino Mariotto.
His research expertise’s are in the solid state reactions, CVD, MOCVD techniques for the growth of nanostructures and in their extensive characterization by means of micro Raman, FTIR & Florescence Spectroscopy, and TXRF. He also has experience in SEM & AFM for surface studies at nanoscale.
Since 2016, Dr. Kumar is an advisory board member of the Raman Open Database (http://solsa.crystallography.net/rod/) being developed within the EU Horizon 2020 project ‘SOLSA’ (https://www.solsa-mining.eu/). This is the first interconnected database with other open databases, like the Crystallography Open Database (http://www.crystallography.net/cod) and Theoretical Crystallography Open Database (http://www.crystallography.net/tcod/). Dr. Kumar has authored > 70 Raman spectra as a Personal Communication to ROD.
