Marco Maiani was hired by CNR in 1977 as short term technician in the Institute of Environmental Geology and Geo engineering. In 1983 he become full time technician. During his career he was involved in the following activities: maintenance of the equipments related to the minerals treatments (flottation cells, lisciviations). In 1996 he was transferred from the Frascati Research Area where he was responsible of the cryogenic systems to the Tor Vergata Research Area that was to be built. He was involved in drafting the guidelines for the management and control of the electrical and mechanical central. From 2001 he is a skilled technician of the Institute for Microelectronic and Microsystems responsible of the Deposition and Annealing equipments and processes in the Clean Room Area.
