ecent interest in combined cooling, heating, and power (CHP) has been driven by desires to exert a little control over what facilities pay for electricity and to ensure uninterrupted power when the electricity grid is overloaded. Governments and private compa-nies are recovering waste heat from generation and using it to offset what would have been fossil fuel purchases for space heating, pro-duction of domestic hot water and electricity for air conditioning chilled water. Unfortunately, no significant information has been de-veloped about the value of recovered waste heat to the individual building owner or operator. 1, 2, 3
