Our class 100 clean room, covering 500 m 2, with a complete technological line for realization of integrated silicon devices and circuits and well equipped for customised MEMS development, is the basis for technological development in new fields, where the effort is more focussed on smart exploitation of stabilized technological capability. This is demonstrated by the undergoing activities with two major successes, both characterised by a high degree of a technological customisation: the production of large area Single Phonon Avalanche Detctor (SPAD) detectors for different application and the development of technological processes on SiC material both for mcroelectronic and MEMS application.
