In this work some optical properties of two different High Temperature Superconducting (HTSC) materials, in the normal state, are investigated: Nd123 (highest T c YBCO-like superconductor) and Gd1212 (presenting Magnetic order and Superconductivity coexistance in the same cell below T c). HTSC are very promising indeed for Photonics and Metamaterials fabrication mainly for their interesting properties in the THz range, due to the Superconducting (SC) Gap.
