Description:
Romans, perhaps because of the presence in its territory of the Boii Celts. Although it is a city full of history and art, it is less frequented by tourists than other Italian cities like Venice, Florence, or the eternal Rome. Few of those tourists know, however, that it was one of the first cities in the world to have legislation for the protection of cultural assets [1, 2]. In Bologna there have studied, taught, and worked great scientists, artists, and scholars through the ages. To name but a few: Dante Alighieri, Gioachino Rossini, Thomas Becket, Giovanni Pico della Mirandola, Leon Battista Alberti, Erasmus of Rotterdam, Nicolaus Copernicus …
