The symposium aims to address the new challenges faced by the semiconductor community related to the development of alternative and advanced methodologies to control doping at the nanoscale. The symposium is conceived as a multidisciplinary platform that gathers researchers coming from academia and industry and promotes interactions among scientists and engineers working on all the aspects of semiconductor doping, ranging from fundamental physics and material science to the technological implementation and the final application in functional devices.

ERC-PoC "XMem"

Alessandro Molle, from CNR-IMM, PI of the project and already ERC grantee for the project “XFab” since 2018, is awarded the ERC-PoC grant "XMem" aimed at assessing the technology transfer of fully stabilised silicene nanosheets following up the ERC-CoG grant "XFab".

The goal is to integrate silicene, namely a silicon layer with a graphene-like structure, as a stable component in electronic devices to be commercialized in the future.
