Description:
In this preliminary work, we report about porous silicon (PSi) non-symmetric optical microcavities as transducers modified by organic molecular beam deposition (OMBD) of N,N'-1H,1H-perfluorobutyldicyanoperylene-carboxydi-imide (PDIF-CN 2 ), an electrically conductive organic material. PSi is a very effective optical transducer, due to its sponge-like morphology, but not a very good electrical one. Joule evaporation of PDIF-CN 2 could improve electrical conductivity of PSi transducer, making the device a dual signal sensor.
