We congratulate with Alessandro Molle for the assignment of an ERC Consolidator Grant for his project XFab aimed at the development of a nanotechnology platform for the fabrication of X-enes, i.e. two-dimensional (2D) monoelemental (X) crystals with a honeycomb lattice. In this call, Alessandro was the only CNR scientist awarded with a grant, out of the 14 that will carry out their research in Italy. We are all very proud and wish him good luck with his work.
